Lucky Motor opens bookings for all-new Kia Stonic Turbo

Lucky Motor Corporation has begun taking orders for its newly introduced Kia Stonic, according to Business Recorder, with bookings open from 1 October. The company made the launch official on Thursday. Two versions are on offer: the X, listed at Rs5,499,000, and the S, at Rs5,899,000, meaning the higher trim carries an Rs400,000 premium. Both figures are ex-factory and do not include freight or insurance.

The compact crossover uses a 1.0-litre turbo unit linked to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, a setup LMC says is meant to improve fuel economy and ease driving. Equipment highlights include 17-inch alloy wheels, a two-tone cabin and styling drawn from Kia's current design direction. Orders can be placed at any Kia showroom or through the company's online portal.

Paying the full amount locks in the price, with allocation made in order of booking while stock lasts, and deliveries due in November and December 2026. Buyers wanting delivery after December can reserve a car with a Rs1,000,000 partial payment, and every payment must be made in Lucky Motor Corporation's name. Any levies, duties or charges the state adds before handover that change the price will be paid by the buyer.
