Pakistan Customs revises valuations of truck, bus tyres imported from Japan, China and Vietnam
Profit by Pakistan Today • • 1 min read

Pakistan Customs has reset assessment benchmarks for 104 types of imported light-truck, truck and bus tyres, with values ranging from $10 to $374 per piece. Profit by Pakistan Today reported that Valuation Ruling No. 2112/2026 replaces the January 17, 2025 ruling and sets separate cost-and-freight rates for tyres from Japan, China, Vietnam and other origins.
The schedule retains most existing benchmarks, while revising classifications by tyre size, construction and origin. It also provides adjustments for certain radial tyres, tyres imported without tubes, ply-rating differences and land-route shipments; where an invoice declares a higher price than the benchmark, duties and taxes apply to that higher amount. The ruling stays in force until changed or withdrawn, and importers have 30 days to challenge it.
