Kohat Cement shareholders approved a loan of up to Rs600 million for associated company Ultra Kraft at the annual meeting on October 22, 2026, Profit by Pakistan Today reported. The one-year facility starts October 29 and carries a mark-up set at 1.5% above three-month KIBOR or Kohat Cement’s average borrowing cost, whichever is higher. Ultra Kraft must pay the mark-up quarterly, with a 5% annual penalty applying to overdue amounts.
Shareholders also ratified FY2026 related-party dealings worth about Rs2.22 billion, including packaging-material purchases from Ultra Pack and Ultra Kraft, vehicle sales and a contribution to the Kohat Cement Educational Trust. They authorised ordinary-course transactions with these parties through the next AGM, approved the company’s audited FY2026 statements and reappointed A.F. Ferguson & Co. as auditor for Rs8 million. The loan and continuing related-party arrangements place Kohat Cement’s dealings with associated entities at the centre of the meeting’s approvals.
