Lucky Core Industries profit drops 25% while sales increase
Mettis Global • • 1 min read

Lucky Core Industries’ consolidated profit fell 24.52% year on year to Rs1.62 billion in the quarter ended September 30, 2026, Mettis Global reported. Earnings per share also declined, falling 24.46% to Rs3.52 from Rs4.66 a year earlier, although net turnover rose 4.48% to Rs29.90 billion.
Higher costs outweighed the sales increase: cost of sales climbed 9.10%, reducing gross profit by 12.36% to Rs5.40 billion. Operating profit dropped 25.01% to Rs2.83 billion, while finance costs rose 40.77% to Rs765.80 million and the exchange loss increased to Rs34.20 million from Rs6.05 million. Lower total taxation and a larger contribution from an associate partly offset these pressures, but did not prevent the decline in quarterly earnings.
