Lucky Cement Ltd reported consolidated profit after tax of Rs22.56 billion for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, down 4.26% from a year earlier, Mettis Global reported. Earnings per share also eased, slipping to Rs14.76 from Rs15.01. The result reflects pressure from reduced contributions by joint ventures and associates, alongside rising distribution and administrative expenses.
Revenue increased 5.32% to Rs131.86 billion, while gross profit grew 2.63% to Rs33.97 billion as cost of sales rose 6.28%. The 24.78% decline in profit from joint ventures and associates, to Rs4.06 billion, weighed on earnings, despite lower finance costs and a reduced tax charge. Distribution costs climbed 11.60% and administrative expenses rose 27.75%, while finance costs fell 3.43% to Rs4.64 billion.
