Microsoft to raise $25 billion in US bond sale, reports
Business Recorder • • 1 min read

Microsoft is seeking to raise at least $25 billion from US investors, Business Recorder reported on Thursday, citing Bloomberg News. The proposed borrowing would be the company’s first US issue of investment-grade debt in more than nine years. Bloomberg described the move as part of a broader trend among major technology firms using debt markets to support their artificial-intelligence spending.
The planned financing could be divided into as many as 10 portions, with repayment periods spanning two to 40 years. Bloomberg said the final amount has not been settled and could shift in response to investor demand. Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase and UBS Group AG are overseeing the offering, while Microsoft had not responded to a Reuters request for comment.
