PREMA FY26 profit shoots 56%

Mettis Global reported that At-Tahur Limited (PSX: PREMA) increased its net profit by 56% in the year to June 30, 2026, lifting it to Rs821.63m from Rs528.15m a year earlier. Earnings per share climbed to Rs3.76 from Rs2.42 in the prior financial year. According to the report, the main driver was firm dairy sales and gains from revaluing livestock.

Revenue from customer contracts grew 23% to Rs6.93bn. Including a milk-related gain of Rs4.40bn and livestock valuation gains of Rs1.30bn, total operational revenue rose 19% to Rs12.63bn. Operating costs advanced 21% to Rs9.82bn, leaving a gross operating margin of Rs2.81bn against Rs2.52bn a year earlier.

Administrative expenses rose just 1% to Rs362.69m, while selling and marketing costs climbed 20% to Rs755.93m. Other expenses fell 7% to Rs656.21m and other income jumped 157% to Rs158.90m, lifting operating profit 35% to Rs1.19bn. Finance costs edged up 1% to Rs246.78m, and profit before tax rose 51% to Rs883.82m after levies of Rs63.70m, with a tax charge of Rs62.18m.
