Attock Cement board recommends name change to Falcon Cement Limited
METTIS GLOBAL • • 1 min read

Attock Cement Pakistan Limited has moved to rename itself Falcon Cement Limited, after its board endorsed the proposal and sent it to shareholders, according to a filing on the PSX that Mettis Global reported. The directors reached the decision by circulated resolution rather than at a physical meeting. The change still needs a special resolution from members, along with every required step under the Companies Act, 2017 and the rules of the SECP and PSX.
The special resolution will be put to members at an extraordinary general meeting on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, starting at 10:00 am at Jacaranda Family Club in DHA Phase-II, Islamabad. Attock Cement has also said it will provide further information whenever applicable laws call for it. The timetable indicates the name change remains a proposal until members vote and regulators complete their review.
