FTMM files merger petition in Lahore High Court
METTIS GLOBAL • • 1 min read

First Treet Manufacturing Modaraba (FTMM) filed a petition in the Lahore High Court on October 22, 2026, seeking approval of its merger scheme with Treet Packaging Limited (TPL), Mettis Global reported. The filing follows an earlier no-objection certificate from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), received by FTMM this month. FTMM said it would update the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the SECP, certificate holders and other stakeholders as the process advances.
The merger process has been under way since FTMM approved a restructuring plan in October 2025. The SECP’s Registrar Modaraba conveyed its no-objection on September 08, 2026, subject to conditions, while further approvals and court-directed meetings with certificate holders and shareholders are part of the process. FTMM previously said the restructuring would not immediately affect its financial position, operations or obligations to lenders, creditors, employees and business counterparties.
