Muhammad Ayaz joins Bank of Khyber board as KP govt representative
Profit by Pakistan Today • • 1 min read

Muhammad Ayaz will take over the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government's board seat at the Bank of Khyber from Kamran Ahmed Afridi, according to Profit by Pakistan Today. The change follows Ayaz's appointment as secretary of the provincial finance department, effective October 12, 2026. The bank informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange of the change in a notice issued on Wednesday.
Because the seat attaches to the finance secretary role, Ayaz will serve as an ex-officio director rather than through a separate nomination. The notice said he would assume the director's office on the strength of that posting. It also recorded that he replaces Afridi on the board.
The bank quoted the government's communication directly in its filing. Shareholders can therefore check the exact wording of the change in the exchange notice.
