Ghani Chemworld clarifies production halt, local sales to continue
Mettis Global • • 1 min read

Ghani Chemworld Limited (PSX: GCWL) has clarified to the exchange that it can still meet domestic demand from existing stock, even though it has paused manufacturing, according to Mettis Global. The company's clarification follows an earlier notice, also dated October 19, 2026, in which it said it had stopped production because it could not fulfil export orders.
The company tied the disruption to the continuing situation across the Gulf, saying it has hit both exports and imports. Although it regards exports as central to its business and growth, it said it holds enough stock to serve the home market. Sales from that inventory are planned during the halt, depending on demand and market conditions.
The company also stated that halting manufacturing does not, by itself, stop local sales from existing inventory. It will update shareholders via the exchange when production resumes, and will disclose further material developments as appropriate.
