Pakistan’s Airlink to launch electric bike brand on November 4
Business Recorder • • 1 min read

Air Link Communication plans to introduce its Air EV electric-bike brand on November 4, with customer deliveries due to start roughly a week later, Business Recorder reported. At the company’s annual general meeting, management said the bikes would initially come from overseas partners, while locally obtained lithium-ion batteries will be used. It aims to raise domestic manufacturing content to as much as 95% over time.
The launch extends Airlink’s operations beyond communications products into electric two-wheelers, following its July announcement of a factory for the AirV brand. The company also set out sales goals for appliances, forecasting air-conditioner volumes of 65,000 units in 2027 and 95,000 in 2028, alongside television sales of 50,000 and 65,000 units in those years. Airlink has formed Airfin to offer instalment-based purchases for products including electric bikes and household appliances, with management saying this could support margins and help address slower mobile-phone sales.
