International Packaging Films Limited (IPAK) posted consolidated first-quarter net earnings of Rs704.75 million for the period ending September 30, 2026, almost unchanged from Rs704.27 million a year earlier, Mettis Global reported. Earnings per share, however, eased to Rs1.01 from the restated Rs1.08.
Revenue increased 9.2% to Rs11.13 billion, but a 12.7% rise in sales costs reduced gross profit by 7.7% to Rs1.62 billion. Lower other income contributed to an 8.6% fall in operating profit, while finance costs declined 15.7% and the tax charge fell 19.9%, helping keep after-tax earnings steady. The results show how cost pressure offset stronger sales, despite savings on borrowing and tax.
