Colgate-Palmolive Pakistan to acquire P&G's Port Qasim assets amid agreement
Business Recorder • • 1 min read

Colgate-Palmolive Pakistan (COLG) has signed an agreement to buy Procter & Gamble Pakistan’s land, factory and associated assets at Port Qasim, Karachi, Business Recorder reported. The agreement was signed on October 28, 2026, and requires clearance from the Competition Commission of Pakistan before the transaction can proceed.
The proposed purchase follows P&G’s plan to wind down its Pakistani manufacturing and commercial operations, announced last year as part of a global restructuring. In May, P&G said it intended to sell the Port Qasim property and facility to COLG; the buyer makes and sells detergents, personal care and related products. COLG was established in 1977 and adopted its current name in 1990.
