Mettis Global • • 1 min read

Mettis Global reported that Service Industries Limited (PSX: SRVI) posted a 24% rise in consolidated net profit over the six months ended June 30, 2026. Profit after tax reached Rs9.69bn, compared with Rs7.84bn a year earlier. Basic and diluted earnings per share improved to Rs12.32, against Rs9.70 in 1HFY25.
Net revenue climbed 21% year on year to Rs84.75bn, while cost of sales went up by a smaller 15% to Rs62.34bn. That gap lifted gross profit 41% to Rs22.41bn, and the report credited the gain to firmer margin control and a more favourable product mix. Operating costs rose 25%, led by a 28% jump in administrative spending and a more than doubling of other expenses, yet operating profit before other income still rose 57%.
Finance cost fell 26% to Rs2.27bn, which helped profit before levy and taxation more than double to Rs11.21bn. Taxation, however, swung to a Rs1.47bn charge from a Rs2.33bn credit a year earlier, limiting the bottom-line gain to 24%.
