PSO signs sale purchase agreement with OQT for petroleum supplies
METTIS GLOBAL • • 1 min read

Pakistan State Oil Company (PSO) has inked a sale purchase deal with OQ Trading Limited (OQT) covering petroleum product supplies, according to Mettis Global. Execution happened on October 8, 2026, and the company informed the Exchange through a notification dated October 9, 2026.
Formal sign-off from PSO's Board of Management and the Federal Cabinet preceded the execution. PSO and OQT also worked together to finalise the draft agreement. The step therefore moves a government-linked supply arrangement from draft to signed form.
This deal traces back to an intergovernmental pact between Pakistan and Oman, signed on May 14, 2018. Under that agreement, Oman nominated OQT, formerly Oman Trading International Limited, while the Government of Pakistan nominated PSO. The notification presents the signed contract as the next step under that intergovernmental framework.
