Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has inked a supply contract with Oman's OQ Trading, according to Profit by Pakistan Today, which cited a notification the company filed with the PSX on Friday. The deal, executed on October 8, 2026, covers petroleum products and sits within an existing government-to-government framework between the two countries. PSO said it had secured sign-off from its management board and the federal cabinet before finalising the document.
The arrangement traces back to an intergovernmental agreement signed on May 14, 2018, which named OQ Trading, previously called Oman Trading International Limited, to act for Oman while PSO represented Pakistan. Before the contract was executed, the two firms worked through a draft to settle its terms. PSO did not reveal the contract's value, volumes, pricing or delivery timetable in the filing, which was made under Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015 and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the PSX Regulations.
