Mettis Global reported that the treasury management division of National Bank of Pakistan issued its foreign exchange rates on Friday, 16 October 2026. The US dollar was listed at Rs277.30 on the selling side and Rs276.80 on the buying side, while the euro carried quotes of Rs311.65 and Rs311.09. The bank also published conversion rates for frozen foreign currency deposits, with USD at 276.8943, GBP at 367.1064, EUR at 310.7307 and JPY at 1.7547. These figures apply to settlement on Tuesday, 20 October 2026. The quoted rates act as a reference for the day's trading, but they are not valid for transactions above 5,000 USD or its equivalent, counted cumulatively.
Five currencies, including the New Zealand dollar, Malaysian ringgit, Thai baht, Kuwaiti dinar and Qatari riyal, are marked with an asterisk because they are not available to NBP customers. The publisher describes the table as part of the bank's routine update, intended to show currency valuations.
