Pakistan receives 4,000-tonne LPG shipment from Bahrain amid supply shortages
Profit by Pakistan Today • • 1 min read

A cargo containing 4,000 metric tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from Bahrain reached Port Qasim on October 24, as Pakistan faces shortages and higher prices. The Port Qasim Authority said the vessel Yellowstone docked at 8:42am on Saturday, with work to unload the consignment now under way.
The arrival adds to imported LPG available for domestic and commercial users, including households without piped natural gas and businesses such as hotels and restaurants. Separately, cross-border trade resumed at the Gabd-Rimdan crossing with Iran on Saturday after a week-long suspension, allowing stranded trucks carrying LPG and other essential goods to move; the impact on local availability and prices will depend on cargo handling and distribution.
