Samba Bank Limited (SBL) earned Rs174.03 million after tax in the nine months to September 30, 2026, down 63% from Rs472.40 million a year earlier, Mettis Global reported. Earnings per share declined to Rs0.17 from Rs0.47, while the bank recorded a third-quarter loss of Rs99.64 million against a profit of Rs286.88 million in the same quarter of 2025.
Net mark-up income fell 21% to Rs3.40 billion as interest and deposit-related costs increased faster than earnings.
