Apple says it will replace iPhone Duo units showing screen problems
Business Recorder • • 1 min read

Apple said on Monday it will replace a small number of iPhone Duo devices affected by inner-screen faults, days after its first foldable phone reached customers. The company advised users experiencing display trouble to contact AppleCare, while noting that the problem tends to appear soon after purchase.
Reports shared online showed cracks and lines around the screen’s central folding area. Repair research firm iFixit said its simulation placed damage near the route of a display cable and a support bar, but Apple did not comment on that analysis or identify a cause. The report also noted that analysts expect manufacturing complexity to constrain supply, while an IDC executive described Apple’s replacement response as an appropriate initial move.
