Vietnam raises $619 million in government bond auction, bourse filing says
Business Recorder • • 1 min read

Vietnam’s State Treasury raised 16 trillion dong, equivalent to $619.39 million, through its weekly government bond auction on Wednesday, Business Recorder reported, citing a Hanoi Stock Exchange filing. The amount exceeded the $371 million raised in the previous week, making the latest auction larger by proceeds.
The filing also showed that buyers purchased about 84% of the bonds offered, against 65% in the prior week. The reported figures therefore indicate both increased proceeds and a higher proportion of securities sold, while the report gives no details on maturities, yields or investor categories. For Pakistani readers, this is a development in Vietnam’s sovereign borrowing market, not a domestic government securities announcement.
