Mettis Global • • 1 min read

Sitara Petroleum Service Limited (SPSL) earned Rs671.67 million in the quarter ended September 30, 2026, down 48% from Rs1.29 billion a year earlier, Mettis Global reported. Basic and diluted earnings per share also declined 48%, to Rs0.40 from Rs0.77.
The main pressure came from sales, which fell 65% to Rs12.25 billion, while gross profit dropped 51% to Rs1.01 billion. A rise in other operating income and a 49% reduction in finance costs partly offset the weaker trading result, but profit before tax and levy still decreased 48% to Rs873.41 million. The company said it plans to restore volumes, protect margins, reduce borrowings and advance infrastructure projects.
