Allied Bank 9MCY26 profit falls 13% to Rs23bn, declares Rs4 dividend
Mettis Global • • 1 min read

Allied Bank Limited (ABL) posted consolidated profit after tax of Rs23.34 billion for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, down 12.94% from Rs26.81 billion a year earlier, Mettis Global reported. Earnings per share also fell 12.94%, to Rs20.38 from Rs23.41. The bank announced an interim dividend of Rs4 per share for the July-September quarter, in addition to Rs8 per share already distributed.
The profit decline reflected the shift from a Rs4.30 billion credit-loss reversal last year to a charge of Rs85.09 million, alongside a 13.25% increase in non-markup expenses. Net interest income rose 1.69% to Rs80.01 billion, while total income gained 2.80% to Rs104.70 billion, but these increases did not offset the cost pressures. Lower taxation, which fell 17.23% to Rs24.35 billion, partly limited the reduction in reported earnings.
At a glance
- Nine-month profit declined 12.94% to Rs23.34 billion.
- ABL declared an interim dividend of Rs4 per share for the quarter.
