Caixabank's Q3 net profit rises 22% from same period in 2025

CaixaBank’s net profit increased 21.7% year on year to €1.76 billion in the third quarter of 2026, Business Recorder reported, citing the Spanish lender. The result covered July to September and compared with €1.45 billion in the corresponding period of 2025.
The bank attributed the rise to stronger revenue and a solid contribution from its insurance business. Its reported profit also exceeded the €1.63 billion analysts surveyed by Reuters had expected, offering investors a snapshot of earnings at Spain’s largest lender by domestic assets.
