Diesel price rises Rs2.29, petrol unchanged
Mettis Global • • 1 min read

Mettis Global reported that OGRA raised the ex-depot price of High-Speed Diesel by Rs2.29 per litre from October 31, 2026, setting it at Rs402.96. The price of petrol remained at Rs377.91 per litre, unchanged from the previous rate.
The revision was made under the Federal Government’s petroleum pricing mechanism, with the report citing movements in Platts rates, premiums and other incidental costs as factors behind the change. The announcement sets out the new rates for the two products but does not report a change to petrol pricing.
For investors, the notification is relevant to the oil marketing sector because it changes the official diesel price while leaving the petrol rate unchanged. It is a scheduled fuel-price update rather than a company-specific announcement.
At a glance
- Diesel rose by Rs2.29 per litre to Rs402.96.
- Petrol remained unchanged at Rs377.91 per litre.
