PROFIT BY PAKISTAN TODAY • • 1 min read

Interloop Holdings is committing $55 million, around Rs15 billion, to build a dairy processing plant in Faisalabad with Türkiye’s Rella Gıda. Profit by Pakistan Today reported that the facility will be developed through IL Foods Limited, a recently formed Interloop company, with commercial production targeted in about 18 months.
The plant is expected to produce cheese, butter and Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC80), while a portion of its output is planned for export. Interloop Holdings Chairman Musadaq Zulqarnain said commissioning the facility would lift the group’s combined annual milk-processing capacity to 180 million litres.
The project is intended to support import substitution and introduce modern processing capabilities to Pakistan’s dairy sector. Interloop Limited CFO Hamza Gillani discussed the project with Business Recorder, according to the report.
