Air Link to launch electric bike brand Air EV on November 4

Air Link Communication plans to introduce its Air EV electric-bike brand on November 4, 2026, with customer deliveries due to start about a week later. Profit by Pakistan Today, citing an Arif Habib Limited report on the company’s annual general meeting, said Air Link will first bring in bikes from overseas partners and later move towards local assembly and production.

The bikes will use replaceable lithium-ion batteries, initially sourced within Pakistan, while Air Link is targeting localisation of up to 95% over time. The company is also growing its consumer-appliance business and has set up Airfin, a buy-now-pay-later platform covering smartphones, televisions, air conditioners and electric bikes; management expects instalment financing to support affordability and margins amid weaker mobile-phone sales. Air Link forecasts air-conditioner sales of 65,000 units in 2027 and 95,000 in 2028, and television sales of 50,000 and 65,000 units in those years.
