Mettis Global • • 1 min read

Haleon Pakistan has started producing Panadol 500mg tablets at its Jamshoro plant, the company told the Pakistan Stock Exchange in a material information filing on October 30, 2026. The move follows investment in the site, announced on October 13, 2023, to make the Panadol base portfolio. Haleon said the investment was intended to introduce modern manufacturing technology and expand production capacity in Pakistan.
Tablets made at Jamshoro will have a revised design, with a beacon engraving instead of the current Panadol lettering. Haleon said the change is limited to the tablet’s appearance and that its quality and efficacy are unchanged. The company said local production strengthens its manufacturing capabilities and supports product availability for consumers.
