Zuma Resources eyes tech acquisitions with Rs350 million SPAC, free shares for investors
Profit by Pakistan Today • • 1 min read

Zuma Resources has secured board backing to develop a Rs350 million SPAC, provisionally called Zuma SPAC-I Limited, and seek a Pakistan Stock Exchange listing, Profit by Pakistan Today reported. Directors approved advancing the proposal on October 30, 2026, and the vehicle would pursue acquisitions or combinations involving technology, artificial intelligence, digital connectivity and other growth areas.
The company intends to give existing Zuma investors a proportional allotment of SPAC shares without payment, but has not set the allocation ratio or qualifying date. The plan still depends on regulatory and corporate clearances, the proposed listing, compliance with ownership and transfer rules, and a legally acceptable way to distribute the shares. Zuma says the structure would give its shareholders a direct stake in a separate investment vehicle.
