Pakistan’s tyre industry is targeting $150 million in exports for FY27, following $116 million in FY26 and $35 million in FY22. The FY27 target is about 29% above the previous fiscal year’s exports.

Market access for Pakistani tyre exports to Türkiye was discussed at a meeting chaired by Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan. Officials noted that some tyre categories had already enjoyed concessions under the bilateral Preferential Trade Agreement. The ministry asked exporters for product details and Harmonised System codes so it could raise remaining issues with Turkish authorities.

Service Long March Tyres Ltd SLM, which began commercial production in 2022, recorded $67 million in exports in FY26, about 58% of the industry total. The company is targeting $100 million in FY27 exports, an increase of about 49% from its FY26 figure. If reached, that amount would represent around two-thirds of the industry’s $150 million target. Service Long March closed at Rs21.21 on Thursday, 29 October 2026.

The company’s exports reached $9.5 million in September 2026, compared with $6.9 million in September 2025. Its September shipments made up around 63% of the industry’s reported $15.1 million in exports for the month. Manufacturers also sell tyres in markets including the United States and Brazil, and Chinese technology and manufacturing partnerships have supported local production capabilities.

Armstrong began exporting passenger-car radial tyres in August 2026, including to the United States. Service Long March plans to begin exports in that category in 2028.
