Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SAZEW) said on November 03, 2026, that it has not invested equity in a three-wheeler manufacturing and assembly facility in the Philippines. The company told the Pakistan Stock Exchange that the plant belongs to its distributor, responding to social media reports that had attributed the project to Sazgar.
Sazgar said it supported the distributor with technical assistance and plans to export three-wheeler CKD units to the Philippines. It expects the arrangement to increase export volumes and extend its international reach, while generating foreign exchange for Pakistan. The company said any decision to invest in an overseas manufacturing project would be disclosed to the PSX and SECP under applicable requirements.
