METTIS GLOBAL • • 1 min read

Mettis Global reported that Faysal Bank Limited (FABL) earned Rs15.68 billion after tax in the nine months to September 30, 2026, up 0.84% from a year earlier. Earnings per share reached Rs10.33, compared with Rs10.25 in the corresponding 2025 period. The bank also declared a third-quarter interim distribution of Rs1.5 per share, following two earlier quarterly payouts of 15% each that have already been paid.
Higher other income, which rose 20.34% to Rs24.55bn, helped offset a 7.61% increase in operating expenses to Rs45.69bn. Profit before tax fell 4.74% to Rs32.11bn, as the benefit from a lower tax bill, down 9.53% to Rs16.42bn, supported a small rise in after-tax earnings. Revenue from securities gains, foreign exchange and fees all increased, while the bank’s credit-loss allowance benefit was smaller than a year ago.
