NetSol proposes buyback of 4m shares
Mettis Global • • 1 min read

Mettis Global reported that NetSol Technologies’ board has proposed purchasing up to 4 million of its ordinary shares, about 4.45% of issued and paid-up capital. The recommendation was made at a meeting on October 30, 2026, and must be approved by shareholders through a special resolution. The company plans to keep any shares it acquires as treasury shares.
Purchases would take place at acceptable prevailing spot prices between December 11, 2026 and June 1, 2027, or earlier if the full amount is bought. NetSol says funding will come from distributable profits, with the actual pace dependent on factors including market conditions. The board expects the transaction to lift break-up value and earnings per share, and says it could provide an exit for shareholders; an extraordinary general meeting is scheduled for December 3 in Lahore to consider approval.
