Pakistan’s exports to Europe fell 1.84% year on year to $2.35 billion in July-September FY27, a reduction of about $44 million, according to State Bank of Pakistan data reported by Profit. The decline came despite access to the European Union’s GSP+ trade scheme, with shipments to Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium all lower.
Western Europe, the largest regional market, saw exports drop 8.51% to $1.065 billion, while eastern European shipments slid 15.05% to $168.761 million. Growth in southern Europe, up 5.26% to $879.896 million, and northern Europe, up 21.07% to $236.321 million, partly offset the declines; exports to Spain rose 17.78% to $451.244 million. Profit also cited concerns about weaker European demand, energy costs and competition from India, particularly in textiles.
