Why this matters when buying gold or silver
Gold and silver rates in Pakistan are quoted per tola, while international prices and many bullion products use grams or troy ounces. If a seller quotes a price per 10 grams, the same gold is about 0.857 of a tola, so a per-10-gram price is roughly 85.7% of the per-tola price. Converting first keeps comparisons honest.
