The board approved unaudited half-year results for the period ended June 30, 2026, and declared an additional interim cash dividend of Rs 0.30 per share. Six-month revenue increased to Rs 2.100 billion from Rs 699.043 million, while profit for the period fell to Rs 3.460 billion from Rs 15.815 billion and EPS fell to Rs 4.32 from Rs 26.45. The company says the prior-year comparison included a one-time gain on reclassification of its Engro Holdings investment, and that the current-period decline does not reflect weaker underlying operating performance.

Profit for the period was Rs 3,459.990 million versus Rs 15,815.352 million; basic and diluted EPS from continuing operations was Rs 4.32 versus Rs 26.45.
The company attributes the prior-year profit comparison to a one-time Engro Holdings remeasurement gain of approximately Rs 16.81 billion unconsolidated and Rs 6.5 billion consolidated.
The board declared an additional interim dividend of Rs 0.30 per share (30%), on top of Rs 1.70 per share already paid on a post-share-split basis.
The board also authorized management to explore a possible listing of subsidiary Tenaga Generasi Limited, subject to the company retaining majority ownership and receiving required approvals.
