Sindh Zone, which combines Sindh and Balochistan in the association’s reporting, supplied 2.743 million bales, while Punjab recorded 1.998 million.
The rise was uneven: arrivals in ten central Punjab districts fell 26.97% to 0.159 million bales. During the second half of October, national receipts grew 3.08% year on year, below the season’s overall growth rate. Textile mills had bought 3.996 million bales, equal to 84.27% of arrivals, and unsold stocks stood at 0.648 million bales, down from 0.693 million a year earlier.
