Quaid-e-Azam Thermal Power Limited has opened a prequalification process for oil marketing companies seeking to supply high-speed diesel to its 1,180MW Bhikki plant in Sheikhupura. Mettis Global reported that the facility uses RLNG as its main fuel and keeps diesel for backup.
The proposed supply arrangement runs for three years, with a review of performance each year, and deliveries would be made when required. Applications must be filed through Punjab’s e-Procurement System by 11:00 AM on November 24, 2026; submissions will be opened at 11:30 AM that day.
