Thatta Cement FY26 profit slips 3% to Rs2bn
Mettis Global • • 1 min read

Thatta Cement Company Limited posted consolidated FY26 earnings of Rs2.28bn, down 2.90% from Rs2.34bn a year earlier, Mettis Global reported. Basic and diluted EPS fell 15.19% to Rs4.80, while the board announced a Rs0.5 per-share cash payout for minority shareholders.
Revenue growth and stronger gross profit did not fully offset sharply higher borrowing costs, a newly booked levy and reduced other income. Net sales advanced 26.33% to Rs11.93bn, and gross profit increased 30.33% to Rs3.85bn; finance costs climbed 236.06% to Rs681.27m, while other income dropped 58.42% to Rs488m. Lower taxation helped contain the decline in annual earnings, which compares with FY25 results for the year ended June 30, 2026.
