Sindh governor seeks industry support to create jobs for Balochistan youth

Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi has urged businesses to help create jobs for young people from Balochistan by supporting vocational training and working more closely with government bodies. He made the appeal at a meeting at the Governor’s House with industry representatives, the NAVTTC Sindh director-general and Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Sindh Coordinator Dr. Fahad Shafiq, Profit by Pakistan Today reported.

Participants discussed tailoring technical courses to employers’ needs so trained young people could find work in Pakistan and overseas. The NAVTTC official outlined ongoing skills programmes and efforts to connect graduates with employers, while Hashmi called for businesses to identify skills gaps and expand hiring opportunities. Representatives from automobile, construction, furniture, pharmaceutical, packaging, education and banking industries attended.
