Profit by Pakistan Today • • 1 min read

Air Link Communication launched 11 electric bike models across six series under its AirV brand in Lahore on November 4, Profit by Pakistan Today reported. The range includes features such as cruise control, anti-theft systems and regenerative batteries, with the longest stated riding range reaching 200 kilometres. Deliveries are expected to start about a week after the launch.
The company plans to begin with bikes sourced from international partners, then move towards local assembly and manufacturing. It intends to source replaceable lithium-ion batteries locally at first and has set a longer-term localisation target of up to 95%.
Air Link is developing the project at its Sundar Green Special Economic Zone facility, using existing production capacity and distribution channels. It has not announced model prices; the launch is part of a broader effort to expand beyond smartphones, while AHL has cited Airfin instalment financing as a potential support for affordability and margins.
